Dewi is currently the Artistic Director of Tigz Theatre as well as working as a freelance script writer, director and actor. As of 2018 Dewi has written several scripts for Tigz Theatre including the incredibly popular and moving "Tea with Mamgu". He has also worked freelance as a script writer and has written over 10 scripts for a leading UK tourism company.

Dewi is currently in the process of writing "I-Polar" his first novel, which has been adapted from a play of the same name, that Dewi started working on in 2017. "I-Polar" has its origins in Dewi's personal experiences of suffering from Bipolar (cyclothymia) and is a fictionalised account of how the condition can enhance and destroy the life of its sufferers.

Whilst writing "I-polar" Dewi uncovered many of his old notebooks that were filled with poems, essays, and thoughts that had come to him during some of the most serious moments of his illness. Dewi is working on a turning these into a one man show called "March 3rd, notes from my little black book, and other 'crazy' ramblings of a Manic Depressive." Dewi hopes that this one man show of his 'crazy ramblings' will be ready in the spring/summer of 2018 before touring in the spring/summer of 2019.

In 2019 Dewi also aims to revive Tigz Theatre's hit production of Shakespeare's Macbeth which was first performed with an all-female cast at the London Welsh Centre in 2015.

Dewi is also a proud member of the British Rational's cast, where he plays a camp Welshman who is always getting banjaxed.
